Koi spawning
Thought I would put the brushes in Sunday night as a few of the ladies looked to be carrying egg's. This morning I went down to the pond and much to my surprise some had spawned and looked like they were still trying.
Many people would be mortified to have a spawning in there pond but I find it fascinating.

The heat pump is set at 22.5°c Laura. So it swing's through a full degree. Kevin Ellis recommends 21.5°c.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
