    Pump Help!

    Can anybody tell me if I can use this pump inline and not submerged??? Thanks

    Yes , you`ll be fine running this pump inline outside of your pond. Just remove the strainer basket to expose the threaded socket for your inlet

    Thanks for that... After posting on here I found it on the manufacturers website which also says you can use it inline but the seller is adamant it needs to be submerged??

    Just copied this off of the advert you linked to.

    Due to the removable filter basket the pump can run dry. All live parts are coated with synthetic resin and the ceramic shaft ensures a long service life of the pump.

    So if his listing is saying it can be run dry why is he saying it can't?

    I contacted him again today with the manufacturers website that said it can be run dry.. He came back to me and said he meant it had to be below the waterline to use dry although in his first message he said it had to be submerged lol...
