Don't waste your money on it, if and when us subscribers get a copy it's hardly worth flicking through.
Spend your money on the Nishikigoi year book its worth every penny and it's a very professionally put together publication, makes koi magazine look like a kids comic.Alias PWNN - Steve

Think the remarks about paying to go on the forum were removed pretty sharpish.. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I don't belong to that forum, but it sounds as tho people are having issues with it, but to say
'' I think the guy is having some kind of mental breakdown '' for everybody to read is a tad nasty.
I hope he isn't , not a very nice thing to go through.

Totally wrong!!! ... It wasn't meant nastily ... it was meant in a concerned way and to offer an alternative justification for the way he treats people who are paying his wages ... if there is nothing wrong then what he's doing is unacceptable.
You haven't even been to the the other forum ... I think the way you have made an assumption and pulled me up publicly is "a tad nasty" and it's not the first time you've jumped to conclusions.
... I'd appreciate it in future if you'd check out the facts before making any further comments about me.

I've done what most have and given up subscribing. Shame it went down hill because it could have done well.
thanks Chris

Totally wrong.... I have been on the other forum but am not a member, anybody can read it.
you made no mention in your post about being concerned at all. ,What, pulled you up publicly,
a bit like saying what you did on the forum then.... I take it by your other comment '' jumped to conclusions''
your referring to the question I asked about religion and treating a fish that you asked someone, and you gave me an answer .

I cant believe all this is still going on. just don't even bother with it and find something worth spending your money on.

In the thread I was referring to .... he was rudely ignoring one poster and kept asking another who was more open to his suggestions how much he would be willing to pay for a "reliable" forum ... I didn't pick him up wrong he asked and hinted at it a few times.
Maybe since then he has had a rethink and has now removed (as he does regularly) those posts but it was obvious at the time that was the thought in his mind.
I get that now membership means access to old copies of the mag ... but that was not what I was talking about.
It really made me angry to see the way he completely ignored one forum member who asked several perfectly polite questions ...

Trace ....it was not a "re think at all " and a "maybe " is pure guess work , i never said you picked him up wrong
Nothing was removed at all .....i check the logs !
As i said he worded it all wrong , it was jumped on and the wrong conclusions were made .
Pity he never explained his ideas properly .
The forum is a " free forum " as always but fees were "suggested" if you wanted access to old mags ...... nothing more .
No one would ever pay to visit a forum theres loads out there like this one with great advice and all for free
I know this as a fact ......there was never going to be a fee for visiting the forum , it was a "thought" for accessing old issues of the mags as an extra .
As i said no idea if will go a head or even if its a good idea but your post is guess work not facts.....sorry .
I get many are quite rightly miffed about missing mags i would be as well and its all gone pear shaped because of this ..... but there was never going to be a fee to visit the forum .

I think rather than offering access to previous copies they should do something constructive regarding the future. Only had 3 copies since taking out subscription last August. It's not the money that bothers me, it's the principle, especially when they are still taking on new subscriptions.
