What type of Koi?
Whilst doing a water change, I took the fish out to examine them and take photos ready for the summer next year. Could you help identify them.

What type of Koi?
1- mukashi ogon
2- showa or sanke, if black is underneath below lateral line (wrapping around the koi then its showa) it looks more showa to me as is heavy black.
3- gin rin chagoi
4-could be a very dark doitsu ochiba its not a shusui. A shusui is a koi with a blue back with a darker blue zipper like row of scales down the center of the back. Below the lateral line should be red and can have or not have a red flash through the blue on the back either side of the body typically looking like a doitsu asagi of which they are them and asagi are the only 2 variety of koi that actually have blue colouration that is visable as blue. (Some goshiki also have more blue colour to them as an exeption)
5- definatly albino grass carp, the short/small dorsal fin, long slim body and rounded head gives it away.
6- yamabuki ogon
7- ? No real definitive just a random mixy flop
8 - kohaku
9 - this fish looks metalic on the pic so my best guess is a yamatonishiki (metallic sanke) or its a doitsu sanke.
10 - is a butterfly or long fin carp and its a black/dark one
Hope that helps. I mean no disrepect here but the coloured variaties shown are not the greatest examples in terms of koi variety guidelines. im guessing they are israeli or local bred/sourced fish? Nothing wrong with them and they are all lovely but you can get some very mixed looking fish hence when i said mixy flop there was nothing meant with that hence number 4 and 7 are not very identifiable.

Very helpful. Thanks for your time. They are locally sourced. I inherited a pond so didn’t choose many. Whilst I changed pond liner, I put the fish in a big paddling pool for two days which was white/clear. Number 10 actually became really light after a day. Went back in the pond and became dark again within a day or two. Weird!
