Few to drool over.
All 2015 Tosai that have been grown on at Yume to Nisai.
Getting a few together helps with the understanding of the finer points of each

Hi dave, there are different body types in there, nothing that caught my eye there,if i had a few koi in the bowl that were more desirable pattern wise(for me)would mike be able to tell me what would grow jumbo ?are these takigawa?

Yes fish from several different breeders and different bloodlines in there. Bodys were good (as one would expect) and yes being able to identify pretty accurately what a fish will end up size wise is something Mike is particularly good at, what tends to happen is that he will pull out a few from Sansai and Yonsai that have similar attributes to illustrate the points he is making, its not a half hour job selecting a fish, always best to write off the day when he gets into the swing of things.
I think that skin and refinement would cause you to reprioritise on pattern..
There was one monster that was pulled , Yonsai with a body and frame that will allow the fish to get massive, scary fish of decent quality... Not sure if it was snapped up after I left as I got the impression that some purchases were in the offing..

yes normally when buying something nice its a mornings worth at least that's without cups of tea
skin and refinement..yes that is true dave ...(to a certain degree)
I would like to have a trip over the Christmas break but it would be cheeky to go without the proper funds to buy, also frustrating for me if I saw something nice
