Thread: How strong is the Forum?

I'm impressed to see so many different members responding (deservedly) in support of this forum. I call it my forum because without it, and many great people on here, I would have had little or no chance of continuing my hobby.
Being on here gave me a completely fresh start and a happy outcome!
Those who have ready my previous threads will know exactly what I mean.
The members I think of most on here are those who have a good influence on others by positivity and sharing advice & encouragement of professional standards.
Most of all I find that members on here really care about others; so that if problems and disasters strike the will to help and console is very evident.
Equally with good news members are keen to congratulate and celebrate.
I always look forward to logging on and catching up with the recent threads and posts.
Best wishes to all,
Bryan

Christ where do I start withought peeing somebody off I go on most forums for a read and for some info it might be an age thing ,but as you can see from EDDIES post 1 person can start a war I only deal in facts as a lot of you might know if you visit TTK or KOI MAG FORUMS if telling the truth is a fault then im as guilty as hell. Getting back to X TREME KOI I must say it is the busiest by far I don't post much but enjoy reading peoples views on different matters and know how they deal with there probs, a big plus for me on here is I don't get told I cant spell and that my grammer is crap I know that so don't need reminding of it. I have never seen anything nasty being said on here well by my standards any way I like a good laugh and some times I carry it a bit to far and highjack some bodys post but I will always apologise if im wrong so to end this saga I do like the forum as I do with the others variety is the spice of life so they say so keep on posting by the way have I told you all I run a NEXUS .

I have a simple suggestion for getting on well with this Forum. If you like what you read and/or it's helpful by all means comment or contribute in response. If you feel negative or disbelieving about what other's may say; sometimes it may be better to refrain from doing more than read what has been said.
Getting involved with arguments is like adding fuel to the fire in my view.
By the way, this is a general observation and definitely not aimed at anyone in particular.

In text form your words cant always be expressed clearly. Take for example the words "I'm gonna get you"........
Said whilst chasing your 3 year old daughter around the garden......
Said whilst chasing a thug who has just smashed your car window......5000 Gallon Fibreglassed Pond With 54" x 27" Infinity Window

Chaos-Big Mel,
Of course you disagree with me you are moderators of the Koimag forum.
I think there are quite a lot of people who would disagree with you that the Koimag forum does not have a rather heavy-handed approach to banning people/deleting posts.
I was nearly electrocuted by 240 V and water by a design fault in a product of a major advertiser on that forum. There was no abuse from my behalf just stating facts (With pictures to back it up).
The post was deleted.
When I complained about the post being deleted. I was banned.
I could understand it if I had called someone a highly offensive term like "tool". But I didn't I just tried to highlight the fact that I was nearly killed by a poorly designed product.
I think this argument is been done to death. I know for a fact that kids get into the hobby read this forum for inspiration. So I would appreciate it if you would wind back using language like tool in the offensive context.

Eddie,
In posting this thread my intention was for us to talk about this Forum. What you are talking about on the whole seems to be other subjects altogether.

How Strong Is This Forum.
I do not post very often, my chosen subject if I did would be on the Workings of THE QUBE.
Two years ago I was assisting the owner of THE QUBE, TONY YELLEN to fit the units to customers pond.
I still have contact with Tony to see all the new improvements to the filters.
Some remarks have been made on here about my involvement with Tony but these run of me like water to a duck.
Some members have THE QUBE fitted to their ponds but do not post how they are performing.
I have had mine for 4 years now, and as I have said so many times before they are performing great on my 2500 gallon pond.
They have the smallest footprint off all the filters on the market at the moment and the most economical to run regards to electric, gas and water usage, and that is my opininion.
Because I have never had the other filters mentioned I am unable to answer a lot of the Threads posted.

I agree entirely Bryan
Guys
The Koi community is a friendly one; this forum works hard at trying to embrace this and is simply not the place on which to debate/resurrect/argue “issues” that have occurred on other sites.
If you have such issues then please take them somewhere else.
Dave
