How can you tell Male or female Koi? and is there any pictures or info about it?

No I was koi at school

so no one knew the sex of you either until you grew up lol

and they have to be of a certain size or age i believe

this is where bloodline can help , as some bloodlines carry the deep beni on males from a very young age , also males can produce milt from as young as 4-5 months old !!

fins are usually different , body shape can give indicators , the easiest way is to bowl the koi , turn it upside down and run your thumb with pressure , down towards the vent , aprox 1.5 inch from the vent , you'l see it , just dont lick your fingers afterwards lolz
