I'll do the Celotex. I did toy with the idea of having a go but I have "office hands" and the DIY skills of a chimpanzee. My brain knows how it should be done, I can draw how it should be done, I can tell someone how it should be done. Unfortunately, my brain sends the wrong kind of signals to my hands which invariably means it either goes incredibly wrong or I chop something fleshy off one of my hands. I thought about going on a little course of some kind as it does look kinda fun, however I know I'll mess it up and Bob Hart has given me what I'd consider to be a reasonable price so just waiting now to book a date. I am going attempt the plumbing though...what's the worse that can happen? Measure...measure...cut...dry fit....check again....add glue...push/twist...sorted

Lol, I’m ok with a tape measure luckily.
Forgot the “mark and number the pipe fittings”..have a few Sharpies so all good there plus I got me special 2” pipe cutter that’s quite handy as straight cuts with a saw aren’t a speciality either. If this all works I may just get religion !

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
