Certikin HD100SN skimmer
they are claimed to be well used so im assuming some folks on here might have one
are they ok? looking at the extension kit to make the transition through the wall easier,
do you run with the stranded 50mm outlet or have you hacked it?

Hi. I have just fitted one to my new pond. I have gone with the 50mm outlet ,which I am running to a shower with a 12000 pump and it working great. I do think making the outlet any large would be over powering for what I need. I do have the same skimmer on a swimming pool with the 50mm outlet, so I thought if that work's this must work.
only thing that I would say is it should have a guard of some sort on the mouth of the skimmer just to stop the fish trying to enter the skimmer I have not been able to find one as yet.
When I set it in I did not buy the extension I just cut a small amount of the block work out to fit.
they are easy to check each day and clean. So thumbs up from me.

i was looking at the £20 cost of the extension tube, verses time and faff of making a hole to fit and coming to the conclusion £20 is cheaper than the cost in my time
the chevron guards seems to be listed on most retailers sites that stock them for £23ish
im not running it to much more than a settling chamber and a vegetable./anorexic bed, so very simple in comparison to your set up, but if its working on your 2 pools then sounds promisingthe slow pond build thread
