Another revamp
Hi everyone,
I've started another revamp on pond, to start with I was just going to add heatpump, after speaking to my fellow Welshman! I've ended up putting in a proper wall skimmer, sinking a 4" return pipe under water, moving the shower nearer pond and building a filter house, so no more getting wet cleaning filters in winter!
I will post either a video or pics when it's all up and running.
Regards
Steve

After many many years wrestling with shoddy lean to's et cetera building a proper filter house was one of the best things I have ever done you will not regret it.
Regarding the four-inch underwater return won't fish be able to swim up it. Or do you only deal with super jumbo's :-)

The 4" return flo rate is so strong, I think any koi would struggle to swim down it! The only thing worrying me at moment is the skimmer, I need to get a skimmer guard asap.
I'm amazed how much the flo has increased by adding another 10000 pump and keeping all pipe work and filters next to pond.
Next week I will hopefully have it all finished.
Regards
Steve
