Bomb shell......
The wife rang me at lunch to say that she as some news and cant say what until she gets home...
So all afternoon im thinking alsorts..
Anyway the bomb shell the company who she works for want her to take over a role elsewhere for a minimum of 12mths and it means moving....
We are hoping that our daughter and her mate will take over the house and pay the mortgage as we will have to rent somehere wont know until later..
And if all goes well apparently the move will become perminent....
I cant say where until she as got confirmation but its either scotland, south wales, or portsmouth/plymouth way..
So we will see..
I will have to close everything down as my daughter aint got a clue and works silly hrs....
So what a bomb shell......

Not only is Scotland too cold and they talk funny (hey that's me) but it rains a lot as well. Snow can be a b*gg*r as well! It is OK to wrap up warm for yourself but Koi in duffle coats just ain't a good look in the pond, so you end up heating the pond. I am still heating mine and it comes on daily to keep it above 12 C. Somewhere like Stranraer or Campbeltown is O.K. though since they are in the North Atlantc Drift and Palm trees grow outside (honest).

Hi Ant, No problem I am only in Mon-Wed though. Funnily enough we are going to a wedding in Stranraer (travel Thursday wedding Friday) my wife is actually from Drummore which is the village you pass through on the way to the Mull of Galloway so a lot of the rellies are there.
I know that Scotland looks wee on the BBC weather map and thats do do with the view of England from directly above and the curvature of the earth. I could actually drive to London quicker than I could drive to Wick. The journey from Livingston to Stranraer is a minimum of three hours on a good day. Hour and a half from Dumfries though.
